Above: Guests Ray Alan (right) and Lord Charles Middle). I grew up watching Ray on TV with all his characters and just loved his work. He was the best ventriloquist in the UK, if not the world!. Interestingly, he was on the same bill as Laurel and Hardy at the London Palladium when they were touring England in 1954. What an honor it was to work with him.Sadly, he passed away in 2010.
Above: Sir Norman Wisdom, the last of the classical slapstick clowns. He was kind of like the British Chaplin with a little Stan Laurel thrown in. A childhood hero of mine in fact. I met him once when I was about 9 years old. He was performing at Skegness Pier headlining a summer show. Tickets were all sold out so I waited for him to arrive and snagged his autograph! To have him guesting on my show was a dream come true!

THING'S THING: THE CHAT SHOW
Below is a typical schedule for a two day shoot. One guest for each episode. I can't believe we actually shot four episodes a day - and all unscripted! PHEW...
